Description:
Realistic Wildlife Art, Landscape Art, and Gicl'ee Art Prints.Choteau, Montana Artist Jim Utsler. Hiking through the splendor of the Rocky Mountains, Jim gathers inspiration for his Realistic, Wildlife Art and Landscape Art. Although the mountains represent a large portion of Jim's work he uses all aspects of life to create his Realistic Fine Art.
He paints visual adventures, everything from the suspense of a Grizzly Bear overlooking his domain, to the excitement of Ruffed Grouse flushing in an Aspen grove. He also focuses on depicting Landscape Art and Wildlife Art of the planes and foothills leading to the mountains.
In order to represent the subjects in realistic detail, he studies the pencil drawings and paintings created at the scene along with volumes of reference photographs he has taken over the years.
Working in oil, acrylic, and pencil, Jim strives to capture the realism of light and color in both his Wildlife Art and Landscape Art.
