I often tell my groups how easy it is to talk about sex, drugs, and money, however there is little talk about such a killing machine as HIV/AIDS. Too many of our brothers and sisters have lost their lives to AIDS or now living with HIV as a result of ignorance. The dictionary defines ignorance as a lack of knowledge. Friends, family, its time to get educated we can’t afford to be ignorant any longer – our lives are depending on it. Now we must take this life saving information, this wonderful new knowledge and share it. We should talk to our children, our parents, our siblings, our friends, and most importantly, our mates. This is just another example of ‘knowledge is power.’
